The Veteran Friendly Practice accreditation is part of an NHS 10 year plan to improve veteran engagement with healthcare providers. It enables practices to easily identify, understand, and support veterans, and where appropriate, refer them to specialist healthcare services designed especially for them.
OpCourage is the Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing service. It works with Armed Forces charities and the NHS to provide specialist care and support for those who have left or are due to leave he Armed forces and reservists, who are struggling with their health and wellbeing.
